ARTIST BIO:
I am someone who loves science and also makes art. I am in my last semester of undergraduate study, majoring in Molecular and Biomedical Biology with a concentration in Medical Humanities and minors in Chemistry and Studio Art. Art for me is a place of solace where I get to use different parts of my brain to challenge it. I am mostly a painter and prefer oil and gouache paints. I used to strictly paint pictures of buildings, but after taking some life drawing courses, I now feel my paintings are not complete if a portrait isn't included.
As of late, I love to create paintings of digitally collaged photographs I have taken and use that to combine my love for photography, collage, and oil painting.
