My work emerges through tension rather than ease. I believe depth is found in resistance—each painting must challenge and push beyond comfort in order to feel complete. Struggle is not an obstacle in my process; it is the catalyst.
Constraints—whether material, spatial, or internal—form the framework that gives my work clarity and emotional weight. Within boundaries, the composition gains structure and purpose. It is through navigating limitation and resistance that my paintings find their strength and resonance.
