"CITY CHIRPS"

$624.16

by Deb Koesters

fiber/wet felting/needle felting

30”x40”

ARTIST BIO:

Deb Koesters discovered wet felting at Snow Farm, using wool, warm soapy water, and friction to make felt. A lifelong fiber artist, her cosmetology background made felting intuitive. She adores its forgiving nature and possibilities in design and sculpture.

After training with expert felters, Deb developed her distinctive style and founded Feltersforte, focusing on wearable art, upholstery, and wall art. She's a member of The Surface Design Association, Omaha Artist Inc., and Fiber Art Now.

Living in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with her welding artist husband, Dick, Deb enjoys time with her two grown children and four grandchildren. Through Feltersforte, her passion for felting continues to flourish.
