20" H x 14" W x 12" D

ARTIST BIO:

Dennis's goal is to create works of art that highlight his turning and carving skills in a creative manner, but also, in some cases, to tell a story. He has created his own unique style and uses special techniques to create intricately designed vessels and bowls. His work has been shown locally as well as in venues throughout the Midwest, where he has won awards, such as "Best in Sculpture" in the 2020 Nebraska Biennial at the 1516 Gallery, Omaha, and First Place at the 12th Annual Juried Show, Norfolk Art Center, Norfolk, NE. The use of different laminated hardwoods in his work has been evolving to include more sculptural forms, which add a certain vitality and creative edge to the vessels.
