ARTIST BIO:

Born in 1955, Curt holds a B.S. degree from Weber State College in Ogden, Utah, and an MFA from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. His career in the arts has included both academic and curatorial roles, having served as an Assistant Professor at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, and as Director of the Susan Brown Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Curt has worked as a professional artist during two distinct periods—initially from 1982 to 1992, and again from 2018 to the present. His work is represented by several galleries, including Casa De Artista Gallery in Scottsdale, All Things Desert in Superior, and the Globe Art Center in Globe, Arizona.

His recent exhibitions include Different Point of View (2025, 2nd Place in 3D Section), Bold & Beautiful (2024), and Lazy Days of Summer (2024), all juried shows at the Sonoran Art Gallery in Carefree, Arizona. He also participated in a two-artist show at Chandler Wealth Management in Chandler, Arizona (2024), and the Bemis Exhibition and Auction in Omaha, Nebraska (2024).
