This piece is part of an ongoing fascination with observed landscapes while walking at night.
Meghan Stevens was born in San Francisco, CA. She grew up in Omaha, NE where she now currently works and resides. She received a bachelors degree in Fine Art, majoring in painting and printmaking at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She earned a Masters degree in Liberal Studies from Creighton University in Omaha, focusing on fine art topics. Her largest direct influence came from her father, Dan Boylan, a prominent abstract painter. She works primarily in painting, printmaking, and collage, but always seeks out new physical media to incorporate into her work. She has exhibited in formal galleries, non-traditional spaces and commercial/corporate buildings. Her primary influences come from travel, film, and found materials.
