ARTIST BIO:

Courtney Kenny Porto is known for her vibrant abstract paintings, shiny modern still lifes, and surrealist animals. Porto’s work focuses on nostalgia, femininity, and humor. Porto Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bethany College with a BA in Studio Art. She has exhibited work in numerous juried and solo exhibitions and has work in private and corporate collections.

Porto is the illustrator for Tender & True’s pet food packaging and is represented by Anderson O’Brien Fine and Art Rennie Art Company. Porto is actively involved in the Omaha art community, where she recently served as Joslyn Art Museum’s Young Advocates 2024 Committee Vice-Chair. She has curated multiple large-scale exhibitions and participated in several public art projects, including the Omaha Summer Arts Festival’s Mural Cubes, the Nebraska By Heart Project, and the Downtown Electrical Box Beautification Project.
