ARTIST BIO:
Joelle Cozad, who recently completed first grade, thought up the Sad Cat concept and created the first Sad Cat of the series in 2022. Her parents were slightly baffled but always impressed by the concept. In addition to creating Sad Cats, Joelle is a self-described "curious person and kind friend" who enjoys sports, crafting, and playing with her sister and neighbors. This Sad Cat entry was created in the spring of 2025.
