ARTIST BIO:
Mary Rooney is a Multimedia Specialist at the Omaha Children's Museum, currently exploring textile and printed art mediums. Hailing from Michigan, Mary has been working on art since 2018. She currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies and a minor in Media Information/Film Production. Inspired by artists such as Matisse, Wes Anderson, and Kurt Vonnegut, Mary seeks to find joy and happiness within her practice.

Graduated from Michigan State University with multiple bachelor's degrees in creative practices
Currently working in the non-profit industry at the Omaha Children's Museum
