ARTIST BIO:
Dan Klima, born in Omaha, Nebraska, began working with wood at an early age and has been exploring and refining his craft ever since. He studied art at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where his passion for drawing and painting eventually led him to focus on sculpture. Today, he is rediscovering those earlier interests, merging drawing and painting with his sculptural work to create multidimensional pieces.
In addition to his studio practice, Dan has curated several group exhibitions, one of which earned an award and others that received strong critical praise. His work has been exhibited across Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota, and is included in numerous private collections around the world.
